El tenis se revela como la actividad deportiva m\u00e1s beneficiosa para la salud seg\u00fan un estudio realizado por instituciones internacionales a m\u00e1s de 80.000 personas durante 14 a\u00f1os, publicado por el British Journal of Sports Medicine.<br \/>\nLos resultados de este estudio que han recogido varios medios espa\u00f1oles como La Vanguardia o el diario As, muestran que el riesgo de morir m\u00e1s joven es un 47% menor en los practicantes regulares de tenis, por delante de actividades como la nataci\u00f3n (28%), el fitness (27%) y el ciclismo (15%). Otros deportes como el running o el f\u00fatbol tienen poca incidiencia.<br \/>\nEn el caso del riesgo de muerte por problemas cardiovasculares, el tenis lo reduce hasta el 56% y las actividades aer\u00f3bicas hasta el 36%. \\\u00bbLos resultados muestran que la frecuencia y la intensidad de la actividad practicada no son los \u00fanicos factores a tener en cuenta, sino tambi\u00e9n el tipo de ejercicio practicado\\\u00bb, han concluido los investigadores.<br \/>\nEn el estudio han participado un total de 80.306 practicantes mayores de 30 a\u00f1os de distintas disciplinas deportivas, entre los a\u00f1os 1994 y 2008.
