In 1965, thanks to the drive and passion for tennis of Joaquin Gonzalez and M.Luisa Fernadez, the first tennis court was built in Monte Lourido. The first tennis school was generated by Andrews, an Englishman brought from London after training as a coach at the Lawn Tennis Club (home club of the iconic Wimbledon grand slam). In the early 90s, Quin Gonzalez, after obtaining good results at the Galician level, entered the Top Team high-performance school (known as Academia Bruguera, created by Luis Bruguera, from which players like Sergi Bruguera himself came out) at the same time as Emilio. \u00c1lvarez, Spanish junior champion, Pepe Imaz, Spanish cadet champion and many other players within the 30 best in Spain, as well as Eva Borras, currently a sports psychologist and former psychologist of Ana Ivanovic and Beto Lobeto, former coach of Muguruza and Khachanov .<\/p>
